Neither

One pretends to be liberal
One pretends to care
One promised hope and change
One doesn’t like to share
One has deepened the rot
One won’t reverse course
One demands compliance
One has no remorse

One protects the guilty
One ignores the poor
One endorses tyranny
One promises more
One prefers to hide
One prefers to lie
One condemns exposure
One should not apply

One murders innocents
One would do the same
One illegally spies
One can feel no shame
One rejects progress
One shares that view
One shamelessly divides
One agrees with that, too

One perverts justice
One refuses to evolve
One panders to the right
One is unable to solve
One has no heart
One betrayed the cause
One has no beliefs
One refuses to pause

One missed his opportunity
One could care less
One has no conscience
One will never confess
One mainstreamed hate
One misleads the youth
One shifts on a dime
One is afraid of the truth
